About DrumatiX

RHYTHM WITHOUT LIMITS.

DrumatiX is an award-winning creative percussion company transforming drums, dance, movement, technology, and everyday objects into bold, playful live entertainment.

Through original rhythm theatre, physical comedy, and audience connection, we create experiences that are highly visual, musically inventive, and accessible to audiences of all ages.

Located in Los Angeles, San Diego, and New England.

BUILT FROM RHYTHM, MOVEMENT & IMAGINATION

Founded by choreographer and performer Noa Barankin in Boston in 2017, DrumatiX began with a simple idea: rhythm can come from anywhere.

What started with tap dance, body percussion, and found objects has grown into an original performance language combining live drumming, visual theatre, character, technology, humor, and audience participation.

Today, DrumatiX works with resident performers in Los Angeles, San Diego, and New England, creating performances and educational experiences for theatres, festivals, schools, community programs, and corporate events across the country.

Our work has been seen at:
The Ford · Jacob’s Pillow · La Jolla Playhouse · Lincoln Center · Symphony Space · The Music Center · The Old Globe · Providence Performing Arts Center · Segerstrom Center · San Diego International Airport · 24th Street Theatre · Pasadena Playhouse · Somerville Theatre · Hampton Beach Children's Festival · and more...

DrumatiX has received recognition including Pick of the Fringe (Hollywood Fringe), San Diego Fringe Audience Choice, and Boston Parents Paper’s Best Live Theatre & Family Performances (3 years in a row!).
